Description
Fireslayer Automatic Tube Style Fire Extinguisher Suppression System 6' for Auto, RV, Marine, Farm, Air-Cooled, UTV/ATV and many other Applications
The Fireslayer is a New and Innovative Fire Suppression System for Enclosed Spaces. Nothing to Pull or a Handle to Squeeze to Start Suppression - FireSlayer Operates Automatically
The FireSlayer Fire System is designed to protect small enclosed spaces or engine compartments that are at risk of fire. The FireSlayer will operate automatically when the Fire Detection Tube is exposed to direct flame impingement or the temperature melting point of the FireSlayer tubing.
The Fire Suppression Agent is stored in the FireSlayer Tubing and when activated applies the extinguishing agent directly on the fire point of origin and around the enclosed compartment through the tube at its melted point.
The FireSlayer Fire System can be used with a great deal of proficiency in these types of spaces: Engine Compartments of Cars, SUV’s, Vans, RV’s, Fleet Vehicles, Marine, Police, Rescue Vehicles, Golf Carts, Small Tractors, Fork Lifts, etc.
The Fireslayer FE-36 extinguishing agent is suitable for fire situations involving these classes of fire: Class A – Ordinary CombustiblesClass B – Flammable LiquidsClass C – Energized Electrical Components The Fireslayer can be installed in climate conditions ranging from -35F to 175F and will activate at a Burst Temperature or direct flame impingement at 230F to 248F The Fireslayer 6.0 model is 6’ 10 inches in overall length and will effectively cover an area of 20 cubic feet of enclosed space – small engine compartment.
The Fireslayer is designed for fire suppression in enclosed spaces. Partially open or spaces with air flow will inhibit the fire systems activation and suppression. Fire extinguishment depends on factors such as the flammable substance involved, the space and shape of the compartment, proper installation, etc. Certain metals such as Magnesium, Titanium and others that will combust without the presence of air will make the Fireslayer ineffective in that environment.
The Fireslayer System comes as complete kit ready to install.

Installation Instructions
Thanks for purchasing the Fireslayer Fire System - Take your time and plan your Installation. Carefully remove the packaging cable ties and plastic shipping cushions that may be on the tubing and fittings. The FireSlayer is pressurized. Do Not try and remove fittings.
The FireSlayer gauge pressure rises and falls with the surrounding ambient temperature. The Gauge may show 0 bar when temperatures are low and 15 bar when temperatures are high. Try to install the system so that you can view the pressure gauge. Install the system so that there are no barriers or obstructions that would prevent the extinguisher fluid from reaching all points of possible ignition and flame sources.
To be effective the FireSlayer should be installed in an enclosed and compatible space. While installing take great care not to damage the FireSlayer tubing with sharp objects. Do Not break the tube and Do Not make sharp bends in the tubing. Remember the tube is under pressure. If damaged or breached the extinguishing agent may cause frostbite and eye damage. Always wear eye protection during installation.
When installing the FireSlayer in an Engine Compartment the system can be installed on the vehicle hood or directly in the Engine Compartment. Some engines are now manufactured with plastic shrouds covering a large area of the Engine. If this is the case, mounting the FireSlayer surrounding the engine may have a better extinguishing effect other than a hood mount.
After affixing the Fireslayer System in the desired position, make sure that the tubing does not contact any engine moving parts, obstructions of any kind and is not rubbing against any structural items. Make sure the engine hood closes freely without damaging the FireSlayer or vehicle parts. Double check to make sure the FireSlayer is not contacting or inhibiting any moving parts in the enclosure.
Make sure the Fireslayer is mounted firmly to structural components using the supplied hardware or other suitable mounting hardware. Spacing of the mounting hardware should be adequate to mount the Fireslayer firmly and without movement. Mounting hardware should be placed at least every 6 to 8 inches. The Fireslayer Must Not be in direct contact or in proximity to parts that generate operating temperatures of 170 Degrees F. (exhaust header, turbo, engine block, oil coolers, etc) Do Not directly install the FireSlayer on Galvanized or Zine Plated objects as over time theses surfaces can degrade the tubing.
The FireSlayer should not be exposed to harsh chemicals that may cause corrosion and degradation to the tube associated parts. When installation is complete, place the enclosed warning label in a visible location.
