SPA FireSense® 1.25Ltr. Lightweight Mechanical Fire System - FIA Certified - Now at Augusta Motorsports, Perfect for Formula Cars and other forms of Motorsports
Newly developed for 2019, this 1.25 liter fire extinguisher system features the latest technology from SPA Design and is the lightest and most compact system we offer at Augusta Motorsports. This system has successfully passed the latest FIA Technical List No. 16 approval. With such a compact bottle design measuring 257.5mm in total, this system is the ideal for single seat compact race cars. Its extremely lightweight and compact, ideal for weight saving, has excellent fire suppressing capabilities for such a small system and includes everything required to fully install.
This compact fire suppression system is filled with 1.25 liters of AFFF as an extinguishing agent. This water-based foam has been tried and tested over many years for controlling vehicle fires in motorsports.
This mechanically system uses 6 nozzles to disperse the AFFF, 4 for use in the engine bay and 2 for the cockpit.
